New Technology!!! Slovakia starts harvesting corn crop residues with new equipment!
In June 2023, Technik BG GmbH delivered brand new equipment for collecting Maise straw and crop residues to the territory of Slovakia!
The use of Biochipers allows you to collect from 3 to 10 tons of Maize straw per hectare for its further use as fuel or raw material for a biogas plant.
1 ton of Maize straw produces the same amount of biogas as 1 ton of silage. However, if we compare the cost of corn stover compared to silage, then the economic modeling of the biogas production process will show the benefit of using Maize straw more than 2 times compared to silage.
And in the event that a biogas station produces biomethane, then the use of Maize straw guarantees a higher cost of biomethane after certification by ISCC.
