During 2020-2022, the market for trucks powered by Bio-LNG is growing rapidly
According to The Natural & bio Gas Vehicle Association (NGVA Europe) During 2020-2022, the market for trucks powered by Bio-LNG is growing rapidly. Accordingly, the market for Bio-LNG filling stations is growing exponentially.

Logistics operators see great potential in Bio-LNG technology, which combines high engine efficiency and performance, wide infrastructure and low total cost of ownership, as well as great environmental benefits. Bio-LNG replaces diesel fuel in trucks and tractors.

In the Bio-LNG plant, biomethane is liquefied due to a vacuum change in pressure. The pressure is pumped by a screw compressor from 150 millibars to 100 bar and then enters the cooling chamber. At this stage, the biomethane is pre-cooled by means of Joule Thompson valves in 3 stages of compression and expansion and the pressure is reduced to 4 bar. Due to the decrease in pressure, the temperature drops to -155°C. The Bio-LNG is then pumped into a 60 m3 tank, which equals 21.6 tons of Bio-LNG (equivalent to 15,600 m3 CH4). There it can be loaded and assembled by the customer using a tanker truck. we invite you to see the working station and get acquainted with the technology.
