Flexible, safe and globally proven double seam system for tanks

Conventional systems are often not suitable for the reliable and safe storage of solid, liquid or gaseous substances, which can lead to premature corrosion, leaks and safety problems. Flexibility is also an important requirement: tanks must adapt to different sizes and types of substrates and meet local conditions.

- VERINOX® stainless steel– duplex material made of galvanized steel on the outside and stainless steel, e.g. 1.4301 [304], 1.4571 [316Ti] or 1.4539 [904L], on the inside.

- Galvanized/black steel

Storage media
Suitable for solid, liquid or gaseous media such as sewage and landfill gas, biogas, sewage sludge, sugar beet, bulk goods, etc.

Reliability and durability
The double seam system has stood the test of time and has been used for over 55 years worldwide, winning numerous awards. The system works by double-folding the edges of the steel strips, connecting them so that aggressive substances inside the tank have no surface to attack. This provides protection against corrosion and maximum tightness.
