19th Vienna Gas Forum. September 16-17, 2024
The main topic of discussion at the 19th Gas Forum is solving a complex but feasible task:
The countries of the European Union must refuse gas supplied by Russia to the EU and replace these volumes with gas from Alternative sources.

The forum was attended by specialists from various European countries involved in gas production and transportation (Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, etc.

The first panel featured the Director of Ukrtransgaz, Mr. Roman Malyutin, and the Director of the Gas Transportation Network Operator, Mr. Dmytro Lippa.

One of the possible scenarios for replacing Russian methane with other, alternative gases is to increase the production of bio-methane in Ukraine and transport it through the Ukrainian gas transportation system to consumers in Europe. This process has great prospects and will not only saturate European consumers, but also has a high added value due to the reduction of CO2 emissions. European companies pay great attention to this part and pay for the reduction of CO2 emissions with real money.
