VALOPACK - The advantages
• Convenient design with advancement: The system allows the direction of gas flow in the filters to be reversed, which contributes to better pollutant retention through more efficient use of activated carbon. It also optimizes the loading rate and increases filtration performance.
• Maximum efficiency and continuous operation: The system ensures optimal filtration, maintaining high quality gas purification without the need for shutdowns, which increases the overall efficiency of the equipment.
• H₂S level control between filters: The system continuously monitors the hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) concentration between the filters, which allows you to track the saturation level of the activated carbon. This enables timely prediction of carbon replacement, which minimizes risks and reduces maintenance costs.
Contaminant recovery and purification unit
After the initial pre-treatment step, the VALOPACK filtration unit removes key contaminants such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), siloxanes and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the biogas before it is further processed. For this purpose, two tanks equipped with activated carbon filters are used, which effectively retain these substances.
Behind the activated carbon filters, a 3 micron dust filter is installed to trap dust particles that may be generated during gas loading and transportation, ensuring the purity of the gas flow.
The type of activated carbon is selected depending on the concentration of each of the pollutants in the biogas, especially hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and volatile organic compounds, which allows optimizing the purification process for a specific gas composition.
VALOPUR - Advantages
• Automatic adaptation to changes in biogas flow and composition: The system automatically adapts to fluctuations in biogas volume and composition, ensuring maximum injection capacity into the grid and stability of the treatment process.

VALOGAZ - Advantages
• Raw gas is cooled to a temperature of 5°C.
• Smooth tubes ensure maximum gas flow for efficient cooling.
• Dual chillers maintain stability during temperature fluctuations.
• Integrated blower advances the gas to the next filtration stage (activated carbon).
Biogas drying and cooling process
When it leaves the digester, biogas is saturated with a large amount of moisture, which makes it unsuitable for further use without pre-treatment. Therefore, to ensure the appropriate characteristics and efficiency, biogas needs to be dried, which is done through the cooling process.
The main stage of dehydration is carried out with the help of the VALOGAZ unit. It cools the biogas to a temperature of 5°C, which allows for the most efficient separation and removal of the liquid fraction contained in the gas. During cooling, the moisture in the biogas in the form of vapor condenses and is removed, making the gas suitable for further purification and use.
The VALOGAZ plant is designed to keep the maximum amount of gas cooled, even in the most difficult operating conditions. This guarantees system reliability and stability regardless of changes in the operating environment.
To ensure maximum efficiency, smooth 316L stainless steel pipes are used to reduce gas flow resistance and prevent condensation from building up inside the pipeline. In addition, the system is equipped with two chillers that regulate the temperature and help maintain it at the required level, regardless of fluctuations in ambient temperature or changes in the composition of the biogas.
After the cooling stage is completed, the biogas is transferred to the next processing stage - the VALOPACK unit - using a special blower. Here, the biogas is further purified and prepared for final use or storage, which ensures high quality of the final product.
Valotherm - Biogas boiler
The VALOTHERM boiler is designed to efficiently reuse a portion of the biogas to supply hot water to the digester heating system, which maintains the digester at an optimal operating temperature.
The heat recovery process is carried out by means of a gas-water heat exchanger, which not only recovers heat from the biogas combustion, but also provides additional heat recovery from the compressor (or compressors) and, if necessary, a chiller. This makes it possible to maximize the use of thermal energy, while preserving it to maintain the temperature regime.
The equipment package, including the boiler, burner and glycol water circuit, is selected according to the composition and characteristics of the biogas. The placement of the system components is adapted to the site conditions to maximize efficiency and ease of use.
